The National Institute of Child Health Karachi is a 500-bed public sector pediatric hospital serving over 1 million patients annually. Some patients come from as far away as Baluchistan, Punjab and KPK. It has the largest infant incubator facility as well as the largest pediatric ER in Pakistan. It is the only hospital providing 24-hour pediatric surgical emergency services to over 5 million children within reach with nearly 1,000 children visiting the OPD daily.

Nearly 50% of the patients are from out of Karachi and have already depleted their resources by the time they reach the hospital. The NICH Trust was established to provide a reliable conduit for donors’ funds to be used in a legal, transparent and effective manner with the primary purpose of helping to alleviate the suffering of the poor that come to the hospital.
All treatment at the NICH is provided FREE OF COST.
