NICH has taken healthcare delivery to the doorstep of the patient by introducing a drug delivery service for its Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) patients. Medicines are sent via courier every month to the homes of these patients who otherwise had to travel long distances, from as far as KPK and Azad Kashimir thousands of kilometres away. Although they never had to pay for any medication, it cost them thousands of Rs. To come to Karachi to simply receive their free of cost medicines. Now, they receive their medicines every month at their doorstep, absolutely free This service helps deliver nearly 5000 doses every month.
